Possible Causes
Failed main heating element under the inner pot, Burned wiring to heating element, Loose spade connectors, Faulty triac or relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Do not attempt live-voltage testing unless you are trained and equipped.
- Check for obvious damage: Turn the unit over (if design allows) and inspect the underside for burnt smell, scorch marks, or melted plastic near the heating element area.
- Listen for relay click: When starting a cook program, you should normally hear a faint click from the control board relay. If there is no click and E06 appears, the board may not be energizing the element.
- Do not bypass safety: Never jumper or bypass the heating element or thermal cutoffs.
- Professional repair: A technician can remove the base cover, test the resistance of the main heating element and thermal fuses, and replace the failed component.
