Possible Causes
Silicone lid gasket not installed, Gasket twisted or stretched, Steam release valve not in correct position, Damaged anti-clog cap or valve assembly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the unit is cool and depressurized before removing or adjusting the lid components.
- Check silicone gasket: Remove the lid and inspect the large round silicone sealing ring. Make sure it is fully seated in its groove all the way around, with no twists or gaps. Replace if cracked, stiff, or deformed.
- Inspect steam release valve: Remove the steam release valve cap (if removable on your model) and clean any food residue. Confirm the valve moves freely and is set to the correct position for the selected function (e.g., SEAL for pressure cooking).
- Clean anti-clog cap: On the underside of the lid, remove the small anti-clog cap or shield above the steam release port. Rinse thoroughly and reinstall securely.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the gasket, anti-clog cap, and valve, then run a water-only pressure test. If E07 remains, the lid sensor or valve assembly may be defective.
