Possible Causes
Float valve stuck in up or down position, Food residue around float valve, Damaged float valve magnet or sensor, Misaligned float valve guide
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is cool and fully depressurized before touching the float valve.
- Check float movement: Press the float valve pin from the underside of the lid (if accessible) to confirm it moves freely up and down.
- Clean around float: Remove the float valve (if your model allows) and clean the pin, O-ring, and guide channel with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect O-ring: Replace the small silicone O-ring if it is swollen, cracked, or hardened.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the float valve correctly and run a water-only pressure test. If E11 persists, the float sensor or associated wiring may be defective.
