How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any disassembly.
- Reset the cooker: Disconnect from mains for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and set the clock/time again if your model supports it.
- Avoid unstable power: Plug the cooker directly into a wall outlet, not into a switched power strip that may cut power intermittently.
- Firmware reset (if available): Some OBH Nordica models allow a factory reset via a button combination (consult the user manual). Perform the reset and re-test the timer function.
- Board inspection: If E12 persists, the timer/RTC section of the control PCB is likely defective and the board may need replacement.
Note: Timer-related faults rarely affect basic cooking; you can often continue using manual programs until the board is replaced.
