Possible Causes
Failed main PCB, Corrupted firmware, Shorted component on control board, Power surge damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before opening any covers.
- Power reset: Disconnect the cooker from mains for at least 10 minutes. Press and hold any button for 10 seconds (with it unplugged) to discharge internal capacitors, then reconnect and test.
- Check for visible board damage: Remove the bottom cover and inspect the main control PCB for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or scorch marks. If present, the board must be replaced.
- Inspect ribbon cables: Ensure the ribbon cable between the display/control panel and the main PCB is firmly seated and not damaged.
- Surge protection: If the error appeared after a power outage or lightning, consider using a surge protector after repair or replacement.
Note: Component-level repair of the main PCB is not recommended for untrained users; replacing the entire board is the usual remedy.
