Thermal Expansion / Relay Operation Noise
Multicooker makes loud clicking or popping noises during heating.

Possible Causes
Normal relay switching on PCB, Inner pot expanding and contracting, Slight movement of heating plate, Loose mounting screws
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before tightening any screws.
- Identify noise source: Light clicking from inside the housing at intervals is often the heater relay and is normal. Loud metallic pops from the base or pot may indicate mechanical movement.
- Tighten base screws: Remove the bottom cover and gently tighten mounting screws for the heating plate and chassis.
- Check inner pot fit: Ensure the pot sits flat and does not rock. A slightly warped pot can make popping sounds as it flexes.
- Monitor for burning smell: If noise is accompanied by smell or smoke, stop using the cooker and inspect for overheating components.
Note: Some clicking is normal; focus on new, unusually loud, or grinding noises.
