Possible Causes
Overheating thermal cut-out on heating plate, Loose mains connection, Failing power supply on PCB, Blocked ventilation causing overheating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool fully before inspection.
- Check ventilation: Ensure there is adequate space around the cooker (at least several centimeters on all sides) and that vents are not blocked.
- Inspect cord and plug: Wiggle gently while the unit is on (with caution). If power cuts out, the cord or plug may be faulty and should be replaced.
- Open base: Remove the bottom cover and inspect the thermal cut-out device on the heating plate. If it is loose or poorly attached, it may trip prematurely.
- Clean dust: Remove dust from vents and internal components to improve cooling.
- Test with water: Run a simple program with water only and monitor whether it completes without shutting off.
