Strong food odors remain in the cooker and lid even after cleaning.

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is unplugged and cool before deep cleaning.

• Remove and soak gasket: Take out the silicone lid gasket and soak it in a solution of warm water, vinegar, and a little baking soda for 1–2 hours. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Clean inner lid and housing: Remove the inner lid plate and wash it with hot soapy water. Wipe the underside of the outer lid and around the steam vent.
• Empty and clean condensation cup: Wash the condensation collector regularly to prevent stale odors.
• Deodorize cycle: Run a short steam cycle with water and lemon slices or vinegar in the pot, then air the cooker with the lid open.
• Replace gasket if needed: If odors persist, consider replacing the silicone gasket, as it can permanently absorb strong smells over time.
