• Check for burnt food: After cooling, remove the inner pot and inspect the heating plate and pot bottom for burnt-on food. Clean thoroughly.
• Inspect cord and plug: Look for discoloration, melting, or heat damage. Replace if any damage is found.
• Open base for inspection: Remove the bottom cover and look for darkened or melted plastic, burnt wires, or scorched PCB areas.
• Clean dust and grease: Use a dry brush or compressed air to remove dust from vents and internal surfaces.
• Do not ignore persistent smell: If the smell returns without visible food burning, discontinue use and have the heating element and wiring checked professionally.
