Steam or liquid leaks from around the lid during pressure cooking.

Possible Causes
Worn or stretched silicone gasket, Gasket not seated correctly, Food residue on lid or pot rim, Warped lid or inner pot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands and face away from escaping steam. If leakage is heavy, press Cancel and allow pressure to drop naturally.
- Inspect gasket: Once cool and depressurized, remove the sealing ring and check for cracks, stiffness, or deformation. Replace if any damage is found.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Thoroughly clean the lid rim, gasket groove, and pot rim to remove oil and food residue.
- Check pot and lid shape: Ensure the inner pot is not warped and the lid closes evenly all around.
- Reinstall gasket: Fit the gasket evenly into the lid groove, ensuring it is not twisted.
Persistent leakage with a new gasket and clean surfaces may indicate a warped lid or damaged lid frame that requires replacement.
