Possible Causes
Failed internal NTC on PCB, Dry solder joint on sensor, Short or open in sensor circuit, Overheated control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit. Internal board work should be done only if you are comfortable with electronics.
- Cooling reset: Allow the cooker to cool for at least 30 minutes, then retry. If H23 appears immediately, the sensor circuit is likely faulty.
- Inspect PCB: Remove the bottom cover and locate the ambient NTC sensor on the main PCB (often a small bead or epoxy-coated component). Check for cracked leads or poor solder joints. Reflow solder if visibly cracked.
- Check for contamination: Clean any grease or moisture from the PCB with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Replace PCB: If the sensor is integrated and not easily replaceable, or if traces are damaged, replace the entire main control PCB.
