Possible Causes
Blocked ventilation openings, Fan failure (if equipped), Excessive ambient temperature, Faulty internal temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the cooker. Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Check placement: Ensure the cooker is used on a hard, flat surface with at least several centimeters of clearance around all sides. Do not place it under low cabinets where heat accumulates.
- Clean vents: Inspect and clean any side or bottom ventilation slots. Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust.
- Fan check (if present): Some Panasonic multicookers have an internal cooling fan. Listen for fan operation during use. If the fan is silent and U15 occurs, access the interior and test/replace the cooling fan motor.
- Sensor/PCB: Persistent U15 with good ventilation may indicate a faulty internal sensor or PCB. Replace the main control PCB if other causes are ruled out.
