Possible Causes
Partially open heating element, Failing heater relay, Low mains voltage, Faulty temperature sensor causing early cut-off
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before internal checks.
- Confirm mains supply: Avoid using long extension cords or sharing the outlet with high-power appliances.
- Test heater resistance: Measure the main heater resistance and compare with service specs. A significantly higher resistance than normal indicates a failing heater; replace the main heater plate assembly.
- Check relay contacts: Inspect the heater relay on the PCB for pitting or overheating. Replace the heater relay or entire main control PCB if damaged.
- Sensor calibration: A faulty NTC may cause premature shutoff. Test and replace the heater plate NTC sensor if readings are incorrect.
