Possible Causes
Corrupted firmware, Failed RTC chip on PCB, Low backup capacitor or battery (if fitted), Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any disassembly.
- Power reset: Unplug the multicooker for at least 10 minutes to fully discharge internal capacitors, then plug back in and reset the clock and timer settings.
- Firmware reset (if available): Some ProCook models allow a factory reset via a button combination (consult the user manual). Perform a reset and reconfigure the clock.
- Test basic cooking: Verify that normal, non-timed programs work. If only timer functions fail with E10, the RTC section of the PCB is likely faulty.
- Board replacement: If the error persists, the main control PCB will typically need replacement, as the RTC is integrated.
