Possible Causes
Open or shorted lid NTC sensor, Damaged lid wiring harness, Loose connector at lid PCB, Steam damage to lid sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool. Do not operate with a known sensor fault.
- Inspect lid cable: On hinged-lid ProCook models, a flexible cable runs through the hinge. Check for visible cuts or pinching.
- Check connectors: If accessible, open the top cover to locate the lid sensor connector and ensure it is firmly seated.
- Dry out moisture: If the lid interior is damp from frequent steam exposure, leave the lid open in a dry place for several hours.
- Replace sensor: If F1 persists, the lid NTC sensor assembly should be replaced as a unit.
