Possible Causes

Drifting NTC sensor, Poor thermal contact between sensor and heating plate, Sensor partially detached, Faulty PCB input circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before internal inspection.

  • Check for loose sensor: Access the underside of the heating plate and verify the NTC sensor is firmly clipped or screwed in place.
  • Improve contact: If the sensor has pulled away from the plate, resecure it. In some designs, a small amount of thermal paste is used to improve contact.
  • Test with water: Reassemble, add water, and run a warm mode. If F2 recurs, replace the NTC sensor.
