How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the cooker to cool fully. Do not reset thermal devices while hot.
- Clean vents and base: Ensure all air vents are clear of dust and grease.
- Check for heavy buildup: Remove the inner pot and inspect for thick burnt-on deposits on the heating plate that can cause hot spots. Clean carefully.
- Resettable thermostat: Some models use a manual-reset thermostat under the base. If present, press the small red or black button to reset after cooling.
- Persistent F6: If the error returns, the thermostat or control logic may be faulty and should be replaced.
