Possible Causes

No inner pot installed, Wrong or non-ProCook pot used, Deformed pot base, Faulty pot detection microswitch or weight sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Always use the original ProCook inner pot designed for your model.

  • Install correct pot: Ensure the genuine ProCook inner pot is inserted. Third-party or incompatible pots may not trigger the detection mechanism.
  • Check seating: Remove and reseat the pot, rotating it slightly to ensure full contact with the heating plate.
  • Inspect pot base: If the base is warped or heavily scratched, replace the pot. Poor contact can prevent detection and cause uneven heating.
  • Sensor check (advanced): Some models use a spring-loaded weight sensor under the heating plate. If this is stuck or broken, the base must be opened and the sensor repaired or replaced.
