Food residue under lid gasket, Dirty steam release and float valve, Odor absorbed into silicone parts, Mold in condensation collector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before deep cleaning.
- Deep clean lid: Remove the sealing ring, anti-block shield, steam release valve, and float valve. Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Clean condensation collector: Remove and wash the condensation cup and the channel leading to it.
- Deodorize: Run a short steam cycle with water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar in the inner pot, then rinse thoroughly.
- Replace gasket if needed: If odors persist, replace the silicone sealing ring, as it can absorb strong smells.
