ProfiCook
Lid Seal Leakage / Cannot Build Pressure
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid.

Possible Causes
Worn or incorrectly installed silicone sealing ring, Debris on lid or pot rim, Damaged lid or pot rim, Steam release valve not fully closed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Steam can cause burns. Keep hands away from the steam vent during operation.
- Check steam release valve: Ensure it is in the sealed position. If it is loose or wobbly, remove and clean it, then reinstall firmly.
- Inspect and clean sealing surfaces: Remove the sealing ring and clean the groove in the lid. Wipe the top rim of the inner pot and the mating surface on the lid. Remove any food residue.
- Examine sealing ring: Look for cracks, flattening, or hardening. Replace the ring if any damage is found or if it is older than recommended by ProfiCook.
- Check pot and lid rim: Inspect for dents or warping that prevent a tight seal. Replace the inner pot or lid if the rim is damaged.
- Test with water: Run a short pressure cycle with water only to confirm that pressure can now build without continuous steam leakage.
