Possible Causes
Failed heater relay on control PCB, Open heating element, Disconnected heater wiring, Safety thermostat open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and cool the cooker before accessing internal components.
- Confirm symptom: Start a high-heat program and check after several minutes if the inner pot and heater plate are still cold.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the bottom cover and check heater wiring for loose or burnt connections.
- Test heater: Measure resistance across the heater terminals with a multimeter. Replace the heater if open.
- Check thermostat: Test the safety thermostat for continuity. Replace if open and not resettable.
- Relay/PCB replacement: If heater and thermostat are good, the heater relay or triac on the control PCB is likely faulty. Replace the control PCB.
