Possible Causes

Moisture ingress behind control panel, Damaged membrane keypad, Loose keypad ribbon cable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker before disassembly.

  • Drying: If liquid was spilled on the control panel, leave the cooker unplugged for 24–48 hours in a dry place.
  • Access keypad: Remove the front or top panel to expose the keypad ribbon cable. Reseat the cable on the PCB.
  • Inspect keypad: Look for cracks or delamination of the keypad overlay. If certain buttons never work, the keypad is likely defective.
  • Replace keypad: Install a new Redmond-compatible keypad or control panel assembly.
