Possible Causes
Inner pot missing or empty during start, Overheated heating plate from previous cycle, Stuck bimetal thermostat on heating plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool fully before retrying.
- Check pot and contents: Ensure the inner pot is installed, flat on the heating plate, and contains the minimum required liquid and food.
- Cool-down: If H1 appears immediately after a long cooking cycle, leave the lid open for 20–30 minutes to let the plate cool, then try again.
- Inspect thermostat: Access the heating plate from below and locate the bimetal thermostat. If it remains open (no continuity) even when cool, it may be stuck and should be replaced.
Do not bypass thermal protection devices; they are critical for safety.
