How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspection.
- Verify pot contact: Ensure the inner pot bottom is clean and not deformed. Replace the pot if it rocks or does not sit flat.
- Check sensor type: If the bottom sensor was recently replaced, confirm that the correct Redmond NTC (value and type) was installed. An incorrect sensor can cause H2.
- Inspect wiring and connectors: Reseat the NTC connector on the PCB and check for corrosion.
- Board diagnosis: If the sensor and pot are correct, the control board's measurement circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
