Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on power board, Faulty power cord or plug, Failed main control board power supply section

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Work only if you are familiar with mains-voltage safety. Otherwise, seek professional service.

  • Check outlet: Verify the wall socket with another appliance. Ensure any power strip or surge protector is working.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Gently wiggle the cord at the plug and cooker end while plugged in (with caution) to see if power flickers; if so, replace the cord.
  • Check internal fuse: Remove the bottom cover and locate the glass or ceramic fuse on the power input side of the PCB. Test continuity with a multimeter. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
  • Board inspection: Look for burnt components or bulging capacitors on the power section of the PCB. If present, the board should be replaced rather than repaired by a non-professional.
