Strong burning smell during cooking, sometimes without visible smoke.

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool completely. Do not inhale smoke directly.

• Remove and clean pot: Take out the inner pot and wash its exterior thoroughly.
• Clean heating plate: Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth to remove burnt residues. Do not pour water directly into the base.
• Inspect for foreign objects: Check around the heater and inside the base for any melted plastic or foreign materials and remove them carefully.
• Test again: Run a short cycle with water only to confirm the smell has disappeared.
