Possible Causes

Loose heating plate mounting screws, Arcing at heater connectors, Failing relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool before opening.

  • Check mounting: Remove the inner pot and gently press on the heating plate. If it moves or rattles, tighten the mounting screws from underneath.
  • Inspect connectors: With the bottom cover removed, look for darkened or loose heater connectors. Clean and tighten or replace as needed.
  • Listen to relay: Some clicking from a relay is normal, but rapid or loud chattering may indicate a failing relay or control issue. In that case, the PCB should be inspected and likely replaced.
