Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker. Do not continue to use a unit that shows repeated E6 errors, as internal components may be damaged.
- Inspect for moisture: Check around the control panel and lid for signs of water or condensation entering the electronics. If moisture is present, allow the unit to dry for 24–48 hours in a warm, dry place.
- Access control board: Remove the outer housing screws (usually at the base and rear) and carefully lift the shell to expose the main PCB behind the control panel.
- Visual inspection: Look for burnt components, darkened areas, or cracked solder joints, especially around the heater relay and power input section.
- Check connectors: Ensure all harnesses (heater, sensors, lid switch, pressure sensor) are firmly connected. Reseat each connector.
If there is visible board damage or E6 persists after drying and reseating connectors, the control PCB should be replaced. Component-level repair is possible but should be performed only by qualified technicians.
