Possible Causes

Blown mains fuse in plug, Faulty power cord, Failed internal fuse on PCB, Open-circuit power supply section on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect from mains before any inspection. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, consult a qualified technician.

  • Check wall outlet: Test the socket with another appliance to confirm it is live.
  • Inspect plug and fuse (UK models): Open the plug and check the cartridge fuse. Replace with the same rating if blown.
  • Examine power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Flex the cord gently near the plug and cooker entry; if power flickers, the cord is faulty and must be replaced.
  • Access internal fuse: Remove the outer housing to locate any inline fuse or PCB-mounted fuse near the power input. Test for continuity and replace if open, but also investigate why it blew (shorted heater, board fault).

If the internal fuse is intact and there is still no power, the control board's power supply section is likely defective and the main PCB should be replaced.
