Possible Causes

Failed heating element, Loose NTC sensor causing incorrect readings, Faulty control board logic, Inner pot not seated properly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and cool the cooker before internal checks.

  • Check pot seating: Ensure the inner pot is fully inserted and making good contact with the heating plate.
  • Test heating: After starting a program, feel the outside of the cooker base after a few minutes (carefully). If it remains cold, suspect heater or relay issues.
  • Inspect heater and sensor: Access the base to test the heating element and NTC sensor as described in earlier entries.

If the heater and sensor are functional, the control PCB may not be switching to the cook phase correctly and should be replaced.
