Possible Causes

Moisture ingress behind control panel, Worn or damaged membrane keypad, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and main PCB, Faulty touch sensor IC on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooker before accessing the control panel.

  • Dry the panel: If the panel was exposed to steam or spills, allow the unit to dry in a warm, dry place for 24 hours and test again.
  • Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Do not use excessive water or harsh chemicals.
  • Check ribbon cable: Remove the outer housing to access the back of the control panel. Ensure the flat ribbon cable is fully seated in its connector on the main PCB.
  • Test individual buttons: Press each button firmly and observe if any respond. Non-responsive buttons on an otherwise working panel may indicate a failing membrane that needs replacement.

If multiple buttons remain unresponsive despite good connections, the keypad assembly or control PCB should be replaced.
