Excessive Inner Pot Temperature Detected
Display shows HOT and beeps; cooker refuses to start a new program immediately after a previous cycle.

Possible Causes
Inner pot still very hot from previous cooking cycle, Overheat sensor detecting residual heat on heating plate, Insufficient cooling time between high-temperature programs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use oven mitts when handling a hot inner pot or lid.
- Allow cooling: Open the lid and remove the inner pot carefully. Place it on a heat-safe surface and allow both pot and cooker base to cool for 15–30 minutes.
- Improve airflow: Ensure the cooker is placed on a hard, heat-resistant surface with good ventilation around it. Do not operate in a confined cabinet.
- Check for burnt residue: Once cool, inspect the bottom of the inner pot and the heating plate for burnt-on food that could cause localized overheating. Clean thoroughly.
- Restart with appropriate program: Avoid immediately starting another high-heat program (e.g., sauté) at maximum setting. Start with a lower setting or allow more cooling time.
If HOT appears even when the unit is cold, the temperature sensor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
