Inner lid or underside of main lid shows rust spots or corrosion.

Safety: Ensure the cooker is unplugged and cool before cleaning.

• Clean rust spots: Use a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water to gently remove light rust.
• Rinse and dry: Thoroughly rinse cleaned areas and dry completely with a soft cloth to prevent further corrosion.
• Avoid harsh cleaners: Do not use steel wool or harsh abrasives on stainless surfaces.
• Improve drying: After each use, remove the inner lid (if removable) and leave the main lid open to air dry.

Severe corrosion that compromises the lid structure or safety valves warrants replacement of the lid assembly.
