Multicooker leaks steam continuously around the lid during pressure cooking; pressure never fully builds.

Safety: Keep hands and face away from escaping steam. Allow the unit to depressurize before adjustments.

• Inspect and clean sealing surfaces: After cooling, remove the sealing ring and clean it, the lid groove, and the pot rim with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Check sealing ring condition: Look for cracks, flattening, or hardening. Replace the ring if it does not spring back or has visible damage.
• Verify lid lock: Close and lock the lid firmly. Ensure any alignment marks are matched and the handle is fully engaged.
• Test with water: Run a short pressure cycle with only water to confirm that the leak is resolved.

If steam still escapes from a specific point on the lid or rim, inspect for dents or warping. A damaged lid or pot may need replacement.
