Possible Causes

Deformed or non‑original inner pot, Dirty or oxidized pot detection contacts, Faulty pot detection microswitch or sensor, Misaligned inner pot support springs

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooker before accessing internal mechanisms.

  • Use original pot: Ensure you are using the original Sencor inner pot designed for your model. Third‑party pots may not trigger the detection system correctly.
  • Clean contact points: Remove the inner pot and clean the heating plate and any visible contact pins or springs with a dry cloth. Remove food residue and oxidation.
  • Check pot fit: Place the pot back and press down gently. It should sit evenly and depress any spring‑loaded supports.
  • Inspect detection switch (advanced): From the underside, locate the pot detection switch or sensor under the heating plate. Verify that pressing the plate actuates the switch. Adjust or replace the pot detection switch if it does not click or change state on a multimeter.
