Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation openings, Failed internal cooling fan, Dust buildup on heat sink of power components, Faulty thermal sensor near power components

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power and allow the unit to cool before cleaning vents or opening the housing.

  • Clean vents: Inspect all side and bottom ventilation slots. Use a soft brush and vacuum to remove dust and lint.
  • Check fan operation: On models with an internal fan, listen for fan noise during operation. If silent, remove the cover and test the fan by applying appropriate voltage (only if qualified).
  • Remove dust: Carefully blow out dust from the control PCB and heat sinks using compressed air. Avoid spinning the fan excessively with air pressure.
  • Replace faulty parts: Install a new cooling fan if seized or not running. If a separate thermal sensor is used near the power section and reads incorrectly, replace that thermal sensor or the entire PCB.
