Possible Causes

Defective pressure sensor on control board, Blocked pressure sensor hose or channel, Loose pressure sensor connector, Damaged pressure sensor wiring

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the cooker and ensure there is no residual pressure before disassembly.

  • Clean steam path: Remove the steam valve, anti‑block shield, and inner lid. Clean all steam channels with warm water and a soft brush to ensure the pressure sensor port is not blocked.
  • Locate pressure sensor: On many Sencor models, the pressure sensor is a small plastic or metal device mounted on the control PCB with a short silicone hose or channel leading to the lid area.
  • Check hose and port: Inspect the silicone hose for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Remove and rinse it if accessible. Ensure both ends are firmly attached.
  • Inspect connector: Verify the pressure sensor’s electrical connector is fully seated on the PCB. Reseat it to improve contact.
  • Replace sensor: If the hose and port are clear but E6 persists, replace the pressure sensor module or the entire control PCB with integrated pressure sensor, depending on your model’s design.
