Possible Causes

Blown mains fuse inside cooker, Faulty power cord, Defective power inlet socket, Failed control PCB power supply section

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. Work only if you are comfortable with mains‑voltage repairs.

  • Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another device. Avoid using multi‑plug adapters or extension cords during diagnosis.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. Wiggle the cord gently at both ends while observing the display; intermittent power suggests a bad cord.
  • Open base: Remove the bottom cover to access the internal mains fuse and power inlet. Replace a blown fuse only with the same type and rating, and investigate why it blew (shorted heater, PCB fault).
  • Check inlet and wiring: Tighten loose spade connectors and inspect for burnt insulation. Replace the power inlet socket if heat‑damaged.
  • PCB diagnosis: If mains voltage reaches the PCB but no low‑voltage output is present, replace the control PCB / power module.
