- Address inner pot rust: Replace the inner pot if rust is present, as it can contaminate food.
- Clean housing rust: Light surface rust inside the housing can be gently removed with a non‑metallic scrub pad and dried thoroughly.
- Prevent moisture: Always dry the cooker after cleaning and avoid immersing the base in water.
