Possible Causes
Overheating causing thermal fuse or thermostat to open intermittently, Loose mains connection inside, Failing control PCB, Blocked ventilation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspection; components may be hot.
- Ventilation: Ensure at least several centimeters of clearance around the cooker and that vents are not blocked.
- Check internal connections: Remove the base and inspect all mains and heater connections. Tighten loose spade terminals.
- Inspect thermal devices: Check the thermal fuse and thermostat on the heating plate for signs of overheating. Replace if discolored or if they open at too low a temperature.
- PCB replacement: If power loss is not due to wiring or thermal devices, replace the control PCB.
