Possible Causes
Liquid spill into control panel, Condensation inside lid dripping onto electronics, Damaged keypad membrane, Corrosion on PCB tracks
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately unplug the cooker if a spill has occurred. Do not power it again until fully dry.
- Drying: Remove the inner pot and wipe any visible liquid. Leave the cooker open in a warm, dry place for 24–48 hours.
- Open control panel: If comfortable, remove the front/top cover to inspect the keypad and display PCB. Blot any moisture and dry with gentle airflow (no high heat).
- Clean corrosion: Lightly clean any green/white corrosion on contacts with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Replace membrane: If the keypad film is swollen or delaminated from liquid ingress, replace the control panel assembly.
Warning: Do not use a hair dryer on high heat directly on electronics; excessive heat can warp plastic and damage components.
