Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure, steam constantly escaping from lid

Possible Causes
Hardened or deformed silicone sealing ring, Food debris on lid or pot rim, Misaligned lid not fully locked, Damaged float valve seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands away from escaping steam. Turn off and allow to depressurize before opening.
- Clean contact surfaces: Thoroughly clean the lid sealing groove and the rim of the inner pot.
- Inspect and replace ring: Remove the silicone ring, check for stiffness, cracks, or flattening. Replace if any defect is found or if older than 2 years.
- Check float valve: Ensure the float valve moves freely and its small silicone gasket is soft and intact.
- Correct lid locking: Close and lock the lid exactly as described in the Severin manual; partial locking will leak steam.
Warning: Never attempt to hold the lid down manually to stop leaks; this is dangerous.
