Possible Causes
Aging or drifted pressure sensor, Blocked pressure sensor port, Cracked silicone hose to sensor, Firmware calibration loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and cool the cooker. Ensure no pressure remains before opening any pressure-related parts.
- Clean sensor port: Locate the small port or hose leading from the steam channel to the pressure sensor. Remove and clean any blockage with warm water and a thin brush.
- Inspect hose: Check the silicone hose for cracks, hardening, or loose connections. Replace if damaged.
- Check sensor mounting: Ensure the pressure sensor is firmly mounted on the PCB and its pins are well soldered.
- Re-test: After cleaning, run a water-only pressure test. If E16 persists, the sensor may be out of calibration and require replacement along with possible firmware update (service center).
