How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not use harsh solvents inside the cooker.
- Deep clean: Remove the inner pot, lid gasket, steam release valve, and anti-block shield. Wash all removable parts with warm soapy water and rinse well.
- Clean steam path: Use a small brush to clean the steam channel and lid interior.
- Boil-out cycle: Run a full-pressure cycle with water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar. Discard the water and repeat with plain water.
- Inspect plastics: Check for any melted or discolored plastic near the heater or lid. Replace affected parts if found.
