Possible Causes

Inner pot and heater still above safe start temperature, Residual pressure and heat in cooking chamber, Lid sensor detecting excessive temperature

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: This is usually a normal protective condition, not a hardware failure.

Steps:

  • Unplug the cooker and remove the inner pot. Allow the pot and the interior heater plate to cool for 20–30 minutes.
  • Wipe away any condensation from the lid and inner housing.
  • Once cool to the touch, reinstall the inner pot with fresh ingredients and sufficient liquid.
  • Plug the unit back in and select the desired program. The H0/Hot indication should clear automatically when the sensor temperature drops below the threshold.

If the message never clears even when the unit is completely cool, the temperature sensor may be faulty and require diagnosis as per E1/E2/E4 procedures.
