• Inspect the valve seat on the lid for food particles or scale. Clean with a soft brush and warm water.
• Check the valve components (spring, weight, silicone cap) for correct orientation and damage. Replace any worn silicone parts.
• Reassemble the valve carefully, ensuring it moves freely between venting and sealing positions.
• Run a water-only pressure test to confirm that steam stops venting once pressure is reached.
