Possible Causes
Incorrect firmware calibration, NTC sensor misreading at low temperatures, Stuck relay cycling too slowly, Poor thermal contact between pot and sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before internal inspection.
Steps to mitigate overheating on keep-warm:
- 1. Add liquid: Ensure there is sufficient liquid in the pot before activating keep-warm.
- 2. Stir before warming: Stir food to distribute heat and prevent localized burning.
- 3. Check sensor and plate: Clean the heating plate and sensor, and verify good contact with the inner pot.
- 4. Test with water: Run keep-warm with only water and measure temperature after 1–2 hours. If it is significantly above typical food-safe holding temperatures (around 60–75°C), the control system may be faulty.
- 5. Replace NTC or PCB: If misregulation persists, replace the bottom NTC sensor. If that does not help, the main control board may require replacement.
As a workaround, limit keep-warm duration or use a lower-temperature manual mode if available.
