Possible Causes

Open-circuit main heating element, Loose heating element connectors, Burned wiring between element and PCB, Faulty relay/triac on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and let it cool completely before opening the base.

Basic checks:

  • Confirm that the inner pot is installed correctly and that the lid is closed as required by the program.

Heating element inspection (advanced):

  • Remove the bottom cover to access the heating plate assembly.
  • Locate the two heavy-gauge wires going to the heating element ring under the pot.
  • Check that both spade connectors are firmly attached and not oxidized or burnt.
  • Use a multimeter to measure resistance across the element terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed element that must be replaced.
  • If the element tests good, inspect the control board relay/triac and associated wiring for burns or cracks.

Replace the heating plate assembly if the element is defective. If the board is faulty, a full PCB replacement is recommended.
