Possible Causes

Cooker still hot from previous cycle, Stuck temperature sensor reading high, Poor ventilation around cooker

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not add cold liquids to a very hot inner pot; it can cause splattering.

Cooling procedure:

  • Turn the cooker off and unplug it.
  • Remove the inner pot and place it on a heat-safe surface to cool.
  • Leave the lid open to allow heat to escape from the housing.

After 20–30 minutes, plug the cooker back in and check if the message clears. If 'Hot' remains even when the unit is cool to the touch, the bottom temperature sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
