Possible Causes

Failed main heating element, Burned relay or triac on PCB, Loose element connectors, Open thermal fuse

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and cool the cooker before opening the base.

Quick test:

  • Run a short program with water and check if the bottom of the pot warms up after a few minutes. If not, proceed to internal checks.

Internal checks (advanced):

  • Access the heating plate assembly from the bottom.
  • Verify that both element connectors are tight and not burnt.
  • Test the heating element resistance; an open reading indicates a failed element.
  • Check the thermal fuse and thermostat for continuity.

Replace the heating plate assembly or thermal fuse as needed. If the element and fuse are good, the control board is likely at fault.
